Booking Deposit
To secure your booking a €150 security deposit is required.
50% of booking fee due 5 weeks prior to check in.
Balance due on arrival.
Cancelation Policy
Firm.
Full Refund for cancelations up to 30days before check in.
After that 50% refund up to 7days before check in. No refund after that.
Minimum stay
Varies throughout the year.
2 night min off season
3/4 night min spring/autumn
Weekly in July/August (Sat - Sat)

ON THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY
Nestled into the majestic mountains of the Beara Peninsula, Laughing Seagull Cottage is due south facing sitting on an elevated site with spectacular sea views over the Golf course, the whole length of Bere Island, the Bantry Bay, Castletownbere harbour and even the sheeps head peninsula.
Secluded setting, 1.5km off the main road, with only sheep and rabbits as company, it is a haven of tranquility and relaxation.
The Beara Way walking route passes right outside the doorstep and leads you further up the hill, where you can hike as far as you desire.
Enjoy a drink whilst soaking in the views.
There is no need for any other entertainment here! :)
Here at Laughing Seagull Cottage we like to make sure that you feel welcome and right at home from the minute you open the door.
Our kitchen cupboards are fully stocked with esssentials like
herbs and spices to oils, a selection of teas, hot chocolate, ground coffee, dried grains, pasta & rice

Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, air fryer, fully automated coffee machine.
The cottage enjoys its own supply well water which is delicious and very healthy (no chlorine or other nasty chemicals)
